Welcome to my blog. I’m an open book, a writer in my heart, an insightful mind of all things Faith, food, life, love, career, and everything in between. Simple and Complicated.  I’m was born in the big city but raised by southern hands. With the guidance of a true matriarchal family values and the water of the Mississippi running through their veins,  my life has been has intricate as a web of tributaries but rich like the soil of the delta.

A Southern Fried City Girl understands in food there is love.When we break bread together we bond, share, & find commonality. There is Joy at the table.

    I found you through Tikeetha (whom I call sis) as well. I am a “Southern” gal but more of a country gal who grew up in the mountains, believing in things like God, fidelity and honor. My story is not yet finished but it sure has been a rough ride.
    BTW…you and your family are just beautiful.
